Our Historical Company Timeline:

• 4.54 Billion Years Ago (plus or minus about 50 million years) – The Earth was created.
• 2,022 Years Ago – Some guy with long hair and a beard was born. His birthday is celebrated on December 25th.
• 1978 – January (ish) – An “Oops!” occurred in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania that would later cause much joy & some heartache.
• 1978 – October 20 – “Space Invaders” launches a craze for computer video games, Gold (the metal) reaches $200.00 per ounce & some other stuff that we don’t need to get into. (Oh! Yeah! BOOFOLA’s founder was also born.)
• 1980’s – The Cold War, Microsoft, IBM, Intel, & Apple begin to have an impact on all our lives as small computers become cheaper & more widespread including home and business machines. Famine in Ethiopia causes major music stars to band together to raise money and awareness, and the early beginnings of mobile phones as technology gets cheaper and smaller. (No cameras in them, YET!)
• 1990’s – The Internet becomes available for unrestricted commercial use. One of the most completed T. Rex fossils is found in South Dakota and it is named “Sue” after the paleontologist that discovered it. The online auction website eBay is founded in 1995. The search engine Google is founded in 1998 (Most younger people today would not believe that Google is younger than most of their family!)
• 1998 – Ronco founder Ron Popeil developed the catchphrase, “Just set it… and forget it!” in an effort to convey the convenience of his $160.00 Rotisserie Oven in an infomercial. (Ron also created the infomercial concept.)
• 2000 – The only thing that survived the end of the world was Twinkies and roaches. Wait! Nothing happened!

• 2006 – Space aliens landed in Monkey’s Eyebrow, Kentucky, and abducted 12 people who all later ran for a government office, and won! (Just seeing if you were still reading this.) [In case you were wondering, that place really exists! And the next time you say “When Hell Freezes Over!”, keep in mind that Hell, Michigan gets snow & ice every winter.]
• 2009 – The first black man to ever sit in the big chair in the Oval Office was Barack Obama. Began at noon on January 20, 2009, & ended on January 20, 2017. Barack Obama was inaugurated as the 44th President of the United States.
• 2010 to 2015 – Nothing happened. Not really sure why? Did we all take a global nap? (Yes, we know that a ton of stuff actually happened, but we are trying to keep this as light as possible. So no mail yelling at us please!)
• June 12, 2016 – The Pulse Night Club in Orlando, Florida was invaded by a well-armed Omar Mateen, a 29-year-old Muslim man seeking to kill Homosexuality. He created mass panic and grief in this 3-hour-long mass shooting. Killing 49 innocent club-goers, and wounding 53 more. Omar failed in his mission! This horrific scene brought not just the LGBTQ+ community together but brought many groups to stand strong that change was needed.
• 2019 – BOOFOLA! was born! The original idea was to create a new, more open version of Facebook, but that idea soon transitioned into more!

  Boofola.com began its journey in this world as MyMembershipCards.com and was created with the simple idea that the LGBTQ+ community needed a better way to show their interest in someone & also to show their PRIDE in themselves. From one simple card, many designs have come to be and many more will be coming in the future.

  Boofola.com no longer has just LGBTQ+ “membership cards”, but cards for all types of sexuality, cards for fun, and even cards for those with specific medical needs that have been ignored in the past.

  At the end of 2019, Boofola.com began offering clothing like t-shirts, embroidered button-up shirts, hats, and more! Plus, stickers, bumper stickers, pins, and the future of potential products are endless!

• March 24th, 2020 – BOOFOLA LLC was made official. Under the BOOFOLA name will be a host of other companies and services being offered. Like web hosting, graphic design services, social platforms and so much more!

• May 25th, 2020 – The killing of George Floyd by police offers was the last straw in a series of senseless killings of black people by police. This sparked off riots, protests & hopefully some change for the better. We are all human, we all have value PERIOD!

• November 28th, 2020 – BoofolaLLC.com was launched! The rest of the sites are soon to follow, next is MyBoofola.com!
